Essential storage

These items support the features you request and remember privacy choices. They remain available if you reject optional measurement. The provider is this portal and its authentication service.

Privacy preference · local storage

playroom.cookie-consent remembers your choice, notice version, how the choice was made, and its dates. It contains no player ID. Accepted and rejected choices are valid for 180 days; expired choices are ignored and renewed only when you choose again or a browser opt-out signal applies. Browser storage may retain the expired entry until it is replaced or cleared.

Sign-in session · local storage

sb-…-auth-token stores the session used by our authentication service, including guest play. Session tokens refresh while your session is active. Signing out removes the local session; otherwise it may remain until it is invalidated or you clear site data. Temporary sign-in verifier entries use the same prefix.

Sign-in and progress transfer · session storage

playroom.return and playroom.transfer help complete a sign-in you start and connect guest progress. They are removed when the flow completes, or when the browser ends that tab’s session.

Game saves and recovery · IndexedDB and game storage

The playroom-progress database holds recovery saves and pending synchronization. Games also keep progress and settings through the portal’s game integration. Recovery data has no automatic browser expiry and remains until site data is cleared. Clearing it may remove unsynced or guest progress.

Optional site and game analytics

If you allow analytics, our own service measures page visits, game launches and active play time, previews, navigation, sign-in and save outcomes, and performance. It also records broad device, browser, operating system and language information, referral domains, and campaign tags. Your connection IP is used locally to estimate country and region, then discarded from analytics processing. Only those approximate location labels are stored; no IP address is sent to a geolocation provider. Analytics uses browser and visit identifiers and may associate activity with your player account. It does not collect game save contents, passwords, or search text.

Analytics browser identifier · local storage

stumps.analytics.visitor distinguishes returning browsers. It has no separate automatic storage expiry; it is removed when analytics consent is withdrawn or its expiry is detected, or when you clear site data.

Analytics visit and pending events · session storage

stumps.analytics holds the current visit and a bounded queue of unsent events. Visits reset after 30 minutes of inactivity. This storage is cleared on withdrawal or when the browser ends the tab’s session. Server analytics events and inactive visits older than 90 days are removed by a periodic cleanup job.

Analytics is a separate choice from banner measurement. Both are off by default. Rejecting analytics clears its local identifiers and pending events; later acceptance starts a new analytics session.

Optional banner measurement

If you opt in, we count banner views and clicks through the portal’s own service when a player session is present. Each record contains a random event ID, campaign ID, event type, and time. Your session authorizes the request; the event record does not contain your player ID. If you also allow site and game analytics, banner interactions may be included in your analytics visit and linked to your player account.No additional advertising cookie is set.

Measurement is off before a choice and after rejection or withdrawal. We do not replay views or clicks from before you opted in. Generic, locally hosted banners may still appear without measurement. Plus subscribers do not load these banners.

This portal does not load third-party analytics or cross-site advertising trackers. Selecting “Accept optional” permits only theanalytics and banner measurement described here, not future purposes or vendors.

Changing your mind

Use Cookie settings in the footer and select “Reject optional” to withdraw consent. Future optional tracking stops immediately; withdrawal does not undo processing that already took place. Choices apply to this browser, so make your choice on each browser or device you use. If your browser blocks storage, we can remember a choice only for the current page session.

We honor Global Privacy Control by keeping optional tracking off, even if you previously accepted it. Turning the signal off does not restore a previous opt-in. Browsing, scrolling, and closing settings do not grant consent.
